Alice Herrick is an artist, curator and the founding director of Herrick Gallery. She was born and lives in London and studied painting at Kingston University and Chelsea School of Art. After graduating, Alice worked as an art director/production designer in the film industry for ten years, before establishing herself as a freelance exhibitions and events curator. In 2012 Alice launched Herrick Gallery. She continues to practice art often exploring natural forms and phenomenon.
This print captures the Still Life sculpture that is comprised of an arrangement of several ornate, bijou polymer clay forms that reference that of an unknown yet familiar biological material. Encouraging viewers to consider their relationship with nature and to what degree this intrinsic relationship is often overlooked.
